"We used to use a large national shredding company, their minimum charge is £50 and so we had to have at least 10 (13.5kg) bags to make it cost effective. Unless we stored these bags upstairs, which was a little bit inconvenient, we had to place them behind one of the settees in reception, which might be convenient for whoever is picking them up but not the best look for the office. Being able to dispose of the bags on an ad hoc basis and saving money as you only charge £3.95 per bag is a definite winner in my books!"

"Last summer we needed to free up some space by clearing out a large amount of old files and records across our three sites in south Wales. The last time we needed to do this we used one of the large national companies. This was not a successful move because, although they completed the clearance competently, dealing with the company was a nightmare. The bill for the work was not what we were told to expect or had agreed. We were hit with a number of hidden charges for items that were not quoted for at the time we appointed them, such as for paperwork, time on site. This resulted in a series of time-consuming meetings with the company before matters were resolved. Our experience with Taclus was different. They carried out the clearance efficiently, removing over 5.5 tonnes of waste in the course of the agreed week. Their final bill matched their initial quote to the penny. We now use them for regular monthly collections and have found them to be professional, tidy and good to deal with. Taclus came to my house and took it all away and issued a data certificate. Very friendly and efficient- I would definitely recommend to anyone and will use again.
